Staff Appreciation Week Feb 10-13

Staff Appreciation Banner

Each year around Valentine’s Day, LRCA parents are able to “show the love” to our wonderful Warrior faculty and staff.  Delicious meals are brought in by families to serve each of the 200+ staff members on campus…every day for a week!  It’s a small way we can show a token of our appreciation for the investment they make into our children.  We are SO BLESSED, aren’t we?

Led by LRCA mom Sharon Allen, the Staff Appreciation Team has created an online sign up so parents can easily participate.  You can go there now by clicking here.  Please jump in a bring a needed item one day or play hostess and personally thank our teachers while serving them lunch.

As a parent, I have often wished I could do “something” significant to show my sincere gratitude for the life, love, encouragement, and support the teachers who pour into my little people give each day.  Truth is, I can’t.  But I can pray over them – thanking our Father for their tireless investment and the work He is doing through them.  I can pray that God would bless them, and provide health and protection for their families.  A verse I found for our staff during this time of appreciation comes from 1 Corinthians 15:58 and says “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (emphasis mine).

Hope you’ll join me in praying for LRCA and our staff in February…and bring a casserole if you are so led! 🙂  Go Warriors!
